@Glory1 That's really kind of the delivery man! What did you treat yourself to if you don't mind me asking? Some exciting movies/boxsets to watch?
@EmilieT you don't know how many times I've complained to Amazon about their delivery drivers. Many are like the chap who delivered. Others just can't be bothered.
No boxsets or films, those are on pre-order and I've some coming Monday week. Very boring orders, I'm afraid: a TV remote to replace the one that's gone 'walkies', a couple of dinner trays, so I can watch my telly and eat on my lap, a supply of AA batteries and an alarm clock to replace the one that I accidentally knocked over and broke.
I had a shock with the clock, which is 2 1/2 times the size of the clock it replaced. Still it looks very nice and works. As does the remote which is stated to work for most Samsung Smart TVs. It works with mine, which is all I really care about.
To be honest, the TV remote, over 7 years old, was a bit battered, large and fairly heavy. The replacement is smaller, lighter and easier to hold one-handed. I actually prefer it to the original.

Surprised you don't just use an app on your phone @Glory1...
Funnily enough @gmarkj I do have an app on my phone but find it quicker, and easier, to check the EPG in my DVR to see what's on. Some I watch and others I record, particularly if there are 2 or more on at the same time. As I record through my DVR, it's just easier than using the app and then the DVR and back to the app.
It works for me, a bit old school I know. But if it ain't broke ..........

Umm.......what about me @jonsie? I mean I know I've been here nearly 50 years but, technically at least, I'm still an American. Or do you think I'm now a Brit

I would rather celebrate the 4th of July than watch 2 British berks vying for the role of PM
