How scary att it must have been for you as a very junior nurse ... I'd have been truly spooked

No it wasn't in the morgue Jane.... It was on the ward...he was in his bed ...but not dead! (Sorry about the 'black humour' but as a nurse it was how you survived)

And yes I like the halloween light display. ...particularly to Thriller..

I could never have been a nurse & on another thread you have let us know that you have been Nurse of the Year !!!

I have a great insight with mental health issues, & can empathise a lot with fellow sufferrers I meet over a cuppa & chat get-together ... but I could never, ever have been a nurse specialising in mental health, because I'd have taken home all the people's issues with me & not be able to cut off

I've had funny experience's of hospital staff humour eg when I had to put on a gown to be given a lumbar puncture the senior doctor was overseeing a very junior doctor acually using me like the proverbial pin cushion ... I overheard the very nice senior doctor say the word 'PINK' to the staff at the nurses' station outside my room door ... my nix were pink Proud to be a Pink Girl, even though I'm 61 years old lolz
