@Anonymous @Anonymous......As a nurse this actually happened when I was on shift just after starting nursing. I was asked to lay out my first body with another nurse He had been pronounced dead 15 minutes earlier. I was washing his face...he blinked and opened his eyes.........I ran like hell to get the doctor. He actually did die 30 minutes later.....

Serioslu? So I guess this is a recurrent issue. I mean, is there a name for it? What does actually happen to the body, do you know? Does it go into a stage of comma or something and then oxygen is pumped back into the lungs or what?? I am actually freaking out hhahahah
You were really brave I must say

No it doesn't happen often to my knowledge. This ward was actually in a state of chaos at the time with some seriously ill patients. As a very junior nurse I never asked what happened....I do know it took me a long time to get over and made me extra vigilant...
