[Game] Word Hunt Diamond - Game 2

Hi Word Finders and welcome to the Word Hunt Diamond.

The game is open to all members.

Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted with a target number of words to find using only the letters in the grid.

This week`s grid is as follows:

This week`s target is 63 words using only the letters in the grid - note: target includes plurals.

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter H.

No proper names are allowed.

Plurals are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [so, for example, HILL wouldn`t be allowed].

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter H

Only one word per post.

Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.

There is one nine-letter word using all the letters in the grid. 

Regular updates will be given of the words found and the number of words still to be found.

Last week the players not only found all the target words but a further 8 words not in the list from the source used in compiling the game.

Can you bust this week`s diamond and also find additional words?

you have indeed done it - and yes HARDS is correct but not in the list.

took part and found all 63 words in the list in the source used for the game in five days.

@Cleoriff ; @pgn ; @BobM ; @jonsie ; @EmilieT ; and @Marjo also deserve mention for finding 20 words which were not in the list in the source for the game.

PS, I do like this Quiz. If honest, better than wordsearches. Purely because when the wordsearch grid starts to fill up, my eyes go all googly and crossed

My only concern is the number of words not in the source list - but then again all of you guys who play are "wordsmiths".

As for the next game, I have already got the nine letters and the diamond, with 59 words to find.

[and have another with 166 words to find  but thought that might be a few too many words to find].

IF the players agree and want me start Word Hunt Diamond Game 3 before next Tuesday] please say.

Actually the definition of HARDS put me in mind of COIR, also used in rope making, but derived from the material between the husk and hard shell of a coconut, @Cleoriff.

The guy in my Seat ad has the surname HARDS, I think. Funny ad

The only thing I find difficult @Mi-Amigo  is when your quiz and wordsearches crossover. I think that happened with the last one.

I'm NOT suggesting they shouldn't be run together, as different people take part in both of them.

Many prefer the wordsearch to this one....and vice versa.

At least our managers can take part in this. Something they can't do with the wordsearch.

PS, please don't worry about the words not on your list! Who actually cares?

Those who take part feel chuffed when that happens and it's a school day for you as the quizmaster.

I'm sure there is isn't ONE person who thinks you aren't doing a damn fine job.
