Hello everyone

Do you enjoy wordsearch, Scrabble, anagrams? Then you might like a brand new game -

                                                               The Word Hunt Diamond

The game is open to all members.

Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted with a target number of words to find using only the letters in the grid.

This week`s grid is as follows:

                                                                          H

                                                                      N      C

                                                                   I       P      A

                                                                       L      G

                                                                           E

This week`s target is 75 words using only the letters in the grid.

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter.

No proper names are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [so, for example, PIPE wouldn`t be allowed].

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter.

Only one word per post and please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.

There is one nine-letter word using all the letters in the grid.

Regular updates will be given of the words found and the number of words still to be found.

Good luck everyone

@Mi-Amigo

@Mi-Amigo

I see @BobM  has given some words which are probably relevant, after those and in terms of spoilers giving the amount of letters in a word would be of no use to me at all. I have a sheet of paper covered with every combination of letters....all garbage rofl

I would rather see definitions. (personal preference)

PLANCH isn`t No 1 [a small Atlantic fish] - but it is an alternative spelling of PLANCHE [already given], which is a plank floor - so an extra one to the list.

@Cleoriff

No 4 is CHAPE

Well done, both of you.

Can you bust the rest?
