To continue our journey through the theme, let’s move on to the next decade, the fairly wild 1970s.
As with the previous music-themed Word Scramble, bear in mind that these are all British bands that were formed during the 1970s, as perhaps you may associate some of them more with the '80s when they were more popular. A few of them are very obvious ones (have I heard the term punk?) whilst others are more left field (see what I’ve done here?) picks. Also, no solo artists or acts, just bands.
As always, please only one guess per reply, so that everyone has a chance to participate, and also please wait until someone else has guessed after you before you guess again.
Hope to see the regular quizzers @BobM, @Cleoriff, @gmarkj, @jonsie, @madasaf1sh, @MI5, @Mi-Amigo, @pgn, @Projectionist, @RunrigForever, @sheepdog and any others I might have forgotten or who want to join the fun!

Well done indeed guys!
@Cleoriff, @Mi-Amigo, @BobM and @MI5 I'm so pleased you enjoyed, and I have to say it's such a pleasure for me to run these games, not just for the fun I got the get with you guys partaking in them but, especially these music-themed ones, for the music obsessed person that I am, I'm just talking about my favourite subject 😊

@pgn 😂
Thanks for the pun, and for partaking in the game!
Maybe you'll get to use that one on a future Word Scramble 👀
Talking about Blur, Damon Albarn just released his new solo record last week and I found it to be very beautiful. If you are curious about it here's a taster:
