Well Lewis won...by default really. Leclerc from Ferrari had he race in the bag, until he had a partial engine failure 5 laps from the end. Such a shame!!
All that aside it was a great race. Plenty of overtaking...

They were testing in Bahrain today.
The test driver for Ferrari was Mick Schumacher!!
Not sure he would have been given that privilege if he wasn't Michael Schumachers son.
He is only a F2 racer currently.
Too much pressure being put on this 20 year old. Many people already seeing him as the 'second coming'!!

When I saw this on in the background whilst stuffing my face, I had to to look again. He's the image of his father and yes, too soon? I dunno. If he has half the courage and determination his father had at that age then I'm sure we will be hearing a lot more of this young man. Probably would have benefited from schooling with one of the lesser teams first where expectations wouldn't be so high.

I wasn't a Schumacher fan at all. I know he has 7 titles, but he was a cheat.
Problem is, due to his illness (which I am extremely sorry about) people revere him and he is on a pedestal
My issue about Mick Schumacher is, doors are opening to him because of who his father is. He should NEVER have been testing that F1 car yesterday, it was a big publicity stunt.
He says he doesn't mind being compared to his father. He is 20 years old. Wait until he starts F1 properly and see if he minds being compared to his father then. Big boots to fill.

Oh don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no respect for Michal Schumacher as a man or as a sportsman. I will never forget how he drove Nigel Mansell off the track just as Mansell was about to win the WC and grabbed a much tainted cown.
I do however admire his dedication and skill as a driver and I hope it is that his son has inherited and not his win 'fair or foul' ethos.

I agree with that @jonsie and Mick was actually testing for Haas today.
I just want him to drive like Mick and not be constantly compared to Michael. He will be an exciting new talent when he is ready for F1.
I also found out the rookie drivers (without a superlicence) are allowed to test cars. Difference is, (believe it or not) are the lights. Instead of red, they are green!!
