A rookie without a superlicence to drive in F1 races...but ok to use for testing.
Testing for Mercedes today was George Russell. I bet he found a world of difference between that and the dog of a Williams he drives.
Needless to say, he topped the leaderboard.

This is the Chinese F1 weekend. It's also a cause for celebration as it's the 1000th F1 race.
In terms of form and going on statistics Mercedes look the car to beat
Who’s the top tip for pole?
Lewis Hamilton is the driver with the most Chinese Grand Prix pole positions. From the 15 editions of the race so far, Hamilton’s stuck his car in P1 on the grid six times, twice for McLaren in 2007 and 2008 and then for Mercedes in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017. So he’d be our top tip for taking pole – and doing so would give him the same number of pole positions as the rest of the grid combined (85) and the most for a single manufacturer (59).

Sky sports are asking the question, will the 1000th be the 1st for Le Clerc?

I think the lad is in with a good chance. We all know it was a lucky win for Lewis in Bahrain and if Ferrari have still got that pace which Merc are behind with...then who knows?
Having said that, any of the top 3 teams will be desperate to win the 1000th. I think it will be a hell of a race.
