For once I'm on Vettel's side, whatever was agreed before the race, he was quicker than Charles so why give way? Or was Charles holding back? I don't think so. Vettel came from 3rd on the grid and LC didn't have the pace to overtake him under normal driving conditions.

So the Vettel thing, was he being naughty by not letting CL through?
In my opinion, no he wasn't. The idea was he would get the tow from Leclerc to cover off Hamilton. What Ferrari didn't expect was his start would be so good, he would overtake his team mate as well. He was asked to give the position back and refused, as by that time he was 1.9 seconds in front of Leclerc.
It was a pathetic strategy by Ferrari which ended with them shooting themselves in the foot. Then Vettel had engine failure and Mercedes took their chance and pitted, coming out and taking the lead.
I am getting rather sick of hearing Leclerc moaning like a spoilt child when things don't go his way.
Yes Mercedes got lucky but you don't mess with Hamilton when he is on your tail. Damn well done to Bottas keeping Leclerc behind him for 27 laps.
I think Ferrari imploded today and they have ended up with driver discontent.
