I was out for FP1 though watched most of it on Sky Go. Leclerc had a gearbox issue and retired. Bottas put it in the wall 15 mins before the end. Still he was fast enough to stay 4th. You can certainly see an issue with the rookies (like Albon) who have never raced at Singapore before. The heat, humdity and haze is causing problems

I've not seen any of the practice sessions but I don't really enjoy them. I love qualifying and of course the race itself Good to see Lewis up there.
I wonder what, if anything, has been done about the qualifying farce last time and if any steps have yet been taken to stop it happening again.

It's only certain tracks which need drivers to give them a tow @jonsie and Singapore isn't one of them.
However, I missed a lot of the chat as was out this morning...but heard the FIA have stated they will mete out severe punishment and won't tolerate that again.
Mercedes were fined this morning as their fuel was below required temperature...

Alfa Romeo did the same at Spa. Both teams were fined $5000. Chump change really

FP3 results. Yet again Charles is outdriving Seb
Looks as if Perez and Kyvat will take engine penalties. Kyvat may be a gearbox, Perez hit the wall so could be a new engine> Roll on qualifying. Red bull seem to be off the pace...and surprisingly, Ferrari are on it. So we will see!!
