Kimi starts from the pitlane, Max, Norris, Gasly and Perez are starting at the back. In what order I don't know (other than Max starting 19th)

It should be fun watching Max tear through the rest of the slower cars...

Charles had a brilliant drive and won. He did have a few 'dirty' tactics with defending and was warned, then he pushed LH wide when he was about to overtake. Very much on the edge...
However its a Ferrari win at Monza. The first time in 10 years.
Excellent race... (Lewis pitted for fastest lap and got that)

An enjoyable and action packed race!
Yes a few lairy moments against LH but he deserved to win. Vettel disappointed yet again and is very much a driver on the way down. Verstappen too surprised me, it just wasn't his day and once he went in for a new nosecone his race was over.

Personally I think they pitted LH too early. The plan was... he may have been able to overtake Charles and by god he came close. However, his tyres suffered and the job of catching Charles was left to Bottas...who, on my opinion, did not have the same guts as Lewis to mount a challenge!
Oh and I agree, very very poor show from Vettel. That spin and re-entry to the track was pathetic from a 4x WDC.
Re Max, I think he did well considering he was shunted up the ass by Kimi at the start of the race. He did finish 8th, and said pre race he was aiming for 5th which would have been within his grasp I think.
Anyway, drivers standings...

It's Singapore this weekend. I love it, one of the best on the calendar. Made more exciting as it's a night race.
However, before all that...more news of next years driver lineup. Much to the amazement of many, HAAS have revealed their drivers will remain unchanged. They are keeping Grosjean and Magnussen
Many thought Grosjean (the Useless) would be on his way out and Hulkenberg would take his seat. Nope. They are keeping him. Only good thing, it will make for brilliant viewing on series 2 of Netflix 'Drive to Survive'!!
So it looks as if The Hulk will be without a drive next year....
