Thought I would start off a thread, bit of friendly banter not too heavy and an opportunity to express your ideas about your favourite team.
What are you hoping for in the January transfer market?
As a Liverpool fan I am hoping for cover for Mane and the front 3.

Is this Thread still alive? Can we make it in to a domestic football thread now?
Arsenal have made some good signings, Ben white was an excellent one imo.
I see Man City are getting Grealish, or is it Kane, or both!

Thread on a summer break
Looks like Harry Kane is desperate now that Jack Grealish is about to be signed by Man City. Probably stalking him to make sure he doesn't sign Then again, Grealish may be a one-club man so may not sign no matter the price though the bankers will tell him he will be going. Kane forcing Spurs to sell him at any cost is not going to end well.

Apparently Kane is isolating (or sulking) and will be returning to Spurs after.....

Grealish is close to signing for 100 mill (and they say Lewis Hamilton is overpaid at 35 million!!)

Grealish won't get the 100 mil though, Villa will. Although he will get plenty of wages that's for sure.
After Harry Kane has been so loyal to Spurs, I'm surprised he would even consider another English team, I thought he would be off to Spain, France, or Italy.

The problem with most english players is that they don't want to move anywhere outside of England. It would be good for their development to experience other leagues for a couple of years (I believe a couple of clubs do send younger players abroad for a season). Those who have done well have been very good on return in their overall game. Yet a lot of those who do make move, do so for a year before they are attracted back and effectively go on holiday for a year or so because they've not been up to the standard. Nor may I add, willing to raise their game.
Or is it that foreign clubs know exactly how poor British players are so rarely come knocking at the door.

I'm hoping Messi to PSG is a joke...

I think there is every chance that's where he'll end up
Not many clubs can pay the wages he will want
