Ok I've done it again seen someone's post(Darrengf) and thought I'd continue it with a thread:)

I want to do a top 5 or 10 of the fastest connecting phones:)

Final target is to hopefully end up with a UK map with the average speed for the location. Be a great resource for new members too see what's available in the area:) status checker only tells us so much:)

Rules are;
1) You can only do it from your house(well trust you)
2) Three tests a 2g a 3G and a wifi (wifi is optional)
3) Use speed test app
4) Post the pictures for proof

5) Post your general location (e.g. I live in lower earley(specific area) I'd post reading(city) as my location)
6) Don't talk about phone club wink

Links for the speed test app;

iOS:
https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CDcQFjAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fitunes.apple.com%2...

Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.zwanoo.android.speedtest&hl=en

It will cost a small amount of data just prewarn anyone near their limits:)

Open to suggestions slight_smile

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink

That's a huge difference jonsie, and suggests something might have been wrong with the iPhone, weird.

Whilst I quite liked the iphone I found it impossible to get 3G in most places and even struggled to get a signal to make calls in some places.

IMHO the S3 is far superior (tin hat on and breeches manned:smileyhappy:)

Yes when I had my iphone when I was at my nan's all I could get was the circle icon, took me about half an hour just to check her lottery tickets. Now with my s3 I get the H+ icon unless o2 have done an upgrade to a mask near my nans. My s3 is much better at getting a decent data signal.
