Due to very bad hotel wifi, I have had to use my phone for important video calls.  I have plenty of UK data, but my European Zone Allowance is almost gone.  I thought it said somewhere in O2's information that in this case I should buy a data bolt on.  I did this (8GB), but I'm only seeing this applied to my genral data, not the European allowance.  Will this be applied automatically when my 25GB limit is reached?
I can't find anything clear about it on the web site, and the AI chat is useless.

Also, it's very difficult to wait until a human calls back.

Help!  What should I do?  Please let me know ASAP.

This isnt customer services but a customer to customer community and you get replies when someone replies.

It sounds like you bought the wrong bolt on, and you should have bought a roaming bolton, which is required when you get to the limit of 25GB (If on a tariff with other 25GB of data).

All the information can be found in this guide Guide: Roaming MegaGuide

Alternatively contact o2 via Social Media or call them  Guide: How to find help & contact O2

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
