It saddens me to hear that a thousand people were caught using their phones while driving in a two week period in Wales.

 

The attitude seems to be "Don't you do it, but it's ok if I do".

 

Your call or text just isn't that important and it will wait until you can deal with it safely:

One suggestion I've heard is that mobile phone companies be required to suspend your phone account if you are convicted of this.

Trains would be quite easy for GPS to pick up wouldn't it?:/

Bus not so much haha. Most have wifi in my area maybe could pick up on that and not block:/

The newer trains from Stansted Express have free wifi on board. Pretty cool grin

I don't have any concept of how mobile os works haha.

I just figure a simple command line along the lines off

Check GPS
>over 30mph>check wifi available?enable flight mode
>yes>disable flight mode.
>no>enable flight mode.


>under 30mph>disable flight mode

It kinda reminds me of this idea to build in some alcohol-checks from Dräger into cars and if you blow x promille, you're not able to start the car...

I remember that haha. Unfortunatly the heart meds I'm off produce high enough levels to set off a breathaliser yet I am not drunk. Would of ended my business haha.
