Just acquire a program called gimp(steersy introduced me to it) poor mans photoshop if you don't want to go the illegal/+£1k program route.
Just think of something you'd like to create and I can 90% guarantee there's a tutorial for it haha. I've learnt how to do this sort of thing in about 5 months.
Ill give the music notes a shot now might owe you some money mi5;)

Evil eye of Sauron!!!! Its the record hole that makes it a bit intimidating and I take it its a steam cloud that is giving that squint eye look.
