The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.
The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.
The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

The old boys (and girls) brigade, costing US billions whilst lining THEIR pockets. A real breach of trust. Not sure why I say that...I've never trusted politicians and this is why. 😠

Sadly, like sales people, you can always tell when a politician is lying: their lips are moving!
What gets me is why people still believe in them, why they don't oust the whole lot of them. I wonder what would happen if not a single person turned up to vote at a general election?

The new variant of Cov19, called Omnicron, has been found in the UK. Two cases so far. All people entering the UK are expected to take a PCR test.
Doubts about Christmas are already being spread. I shall carry on as normal. This Christmas is completely different from 2020. Travel plans will be disrupted.

UK Gov Info here, para below shows speed of this variant B.1.1.529, or "Omicron":
7. Genomes from a new variant B.1.1.529 have been uploaded to GISAID by South Africa, Botswana and Hong Kong. It has a large number of mutations which are likely to be biologically significant, and which may change the behaviour of the virus with regards to immune escape, transmissibility, and susceptibility to some treatments. There are currently no detected cases in the UK. This variant was designated VUI-21NOV-01 on 25 November 2021 and is currently undergoing further rapid assessment.
And on the other side of the coin:
Blessing in disguise: Omicron variant may be ‘very positive’ news for the world if new Covid mutation kills off more lethal Delta coronavirus. https://www.cityam.com/coronavirus-blessing-in-the-sky-omicron-may-be-very-positive-news-for-the-wor...
