Coronavirus in the UK

The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.

The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.

The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

Not a secret hairdresser.... they open officially on the 12th. My appointment is the 15th. Thank goodness I have only a few steps to walk when I can be dropped right outside the salon. As I've told them, my hair is so awful, I shall be wearing a bag on my head.

My BIG day is on Thursday. Just as well, as my hairdresser wont recognise me I don't think she's ever seen my hair the colour it is currently...

So, on the news this morning (R2), a trial opens for those who have had the first jab, either Pfizer or AstraZeneca, to enrol and get either of the Moderna or Novavax vaccine, in the belief that mixing vaccines will offer better resistance to different current and future variants of SARS-CoV-19 virus...
Would you volunteer? Or do you think it is essential to get the second jab using the same variety of vaccine that you received in the first jab?
