The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.
The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.
The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

Add to the above.
What exactly are these vaccine passports and who will bear the cost of purchasing them? As we pay for our own travel passports, I think the individual will have to buy their own. Great!

Apparently there s talk of a phone app to show what and if you have been vaccinated
I understood the passport to be a certificate of some sort so cue the online fraudsters selling fakes
I had an email from Emirates advertising flights but you had to be vaccinated to get on the plane never mind at immigration of the country you are visiting
Until everyone has been jabbed twice, let alone the annual booster that some will need come January 2022, foreign travel, entry at sporting events and gigs/festivals will be lottery
Not forgetting that only limited numbers will be allowed in
100,000 tickets sold but only 20,000 admitted....who takes preference?

A phone app, making a presumption that everyone has a mobile phone. Or your phone is stolen or battery is flat when you need to show it.
As for limited numbers being let in to gigs or large sporting events....back we go to those who have been vaccinated.
Before we sold our apartment, most airlines gave an option to show your boarding pass via your phone. Did I use it? No! As soon as I was booked I printed off my flight details and then my boarding pass.
Much faster when boarding the plane, as I found out once when I stood behind a family of 6 who spent ages flicking through their phone to show said boarding passes!!
Deep joy

I agree take hard copies much better positive and quicker 😇
The problem I have @TallTrees is, I'm a planner, a list maker and organiser.
So I probably am frustrated (not worried), that I can't plan or organise much of anything. I'm reliant on others (the government) to make decisions for me.
Still, I'm no different to the rest of the population. Just have to go with the flow.
