The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.
The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.
The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

That could be the reason!
Which prioritygroup was first?
We're still at 80+ - and people have problems to get appointments.
The country gives doses to the states and they to the counties... and still cities/counties are playing with plus the "Kassenärztliche Vereinigung" ( I have no clue how to explain that...) - so many organisations involved into planning.
One hand planning is by far better.

They've just been talking about the AZ issue on TV. Apparently it's the over 50's only in the UK and it will be just a glitch on supply.
It's entirely political in the European countries like France and Germany who have two major elections coming up with Macron and Merkel.
Problem is they are putting politics before the health of their citizens.
The other issue is, in the UK we started extremely quickly with our vaccination programme after the drugs were approved by the MHRA. Other countries were much slower to start implementation of their own vaccination programmes and are now trying to cast doubt on the efficacy of Astra Zeneca.

I'm not sure @pgn. I'm aware many EU countries are using AZ but it appears to be a government decision.
The most ridiculous thing about all of this is pretty much in that paper you linked to the other day. Where the guy was angry about non medical personnel using 'causal' medical conditions which appear after a vaccine, as a reason not to use that particular brand.
The whole business about thrombosis is even more stupid. It has been proved that there were more people who suffered with thrombosis in the year before the vaccine ever started.

Why are the idiotic member states talking about blocking AZ exports because the UK has not met their production for the EU when many of the knuckle-headed EU member states are banning the use of AZ
The European Medicines Agency has said the Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine is a "safe and effective vaccine".
Yes, they said an announcement would be made today about the safety of the AZ vaccine and as we have heard on the news today, that is exactly what was announced. There is no need for any country to block AZ now.
As for the UK, the blip in progressing to vaccinate 50 year olds is now over and normal service resumed.
