@Marjo I get mice under the bed
They make sure to get the sick on the carpet.
Luckily this did not happen to me, but a friend's cat is the family provider. Likes to bring home presents/food in the form of mice and birds. Sometimes not all of said animal makes it home.
The one that sticks in my mind is the one when my friend woke up, rolled onto his side and was eye to eye with a mouse.
Just the head, nothing else...

@Cleoriff @gmarkj Luckily I only get one at a time and there not normally around long enough to breed. Slowly getting it through the cats head that this is unacceptable behaviour but they can be stubborn little creatures.

Thing is cats are bringing you presents when they do this. They don't see anything bad in it at all.
I have cleared out many dead mice and birds. One of my cats thinks I like butterflies and moths. ![]()
Have you ever heard a frog when a cat catches it? They scream like a baby. I think it must be a defence mechanism as usually the cat drops it....

Yes frogs make quite a disturbing noise when caught by a cat! I was super freaked out the first time I heard it
Normally they are little presents but for my current cat there more toys to play with and he will growl if I try to take them away!

Hey everyone,
Here's a lovely story of a very pregnant cat getting some help to give birth at an animal shelter in the US.
