Did you guys see this news yesterday about a "black panther" getting caught on camera in Kenya? There's some gorgeous photos too in the article. Apparently this is the first time in 100 years that one of these cats has been captured on camera in Africa.
I missed this @Marjo so thanks for posting. Black panthers are my favourite cat as my avatar makes clear. I think they are so beautiful.

This litter tray knows when your cat has done its business (and what type of business) and then proceeds to scoop the nasty into a collection tray. If it detects more litter is needed, it'll automatically deposit some, and spread it out evenly. It'll even track the number of times your cat 'goes', so you can determine if it perhaps has any kidney or other 'bathroom complications'. It is a rather sizeable unit so it may not be for everyone, but the expectation is when they launch in Europe next year, it's going to cost upwards of $400-500.
Many thanks to @Chris_K for this
Would your cat use it?

No mine wouldn't use it and I wouldn't waste £500 on it either!!
Awful piece of equipment stuck in anyones house FGS!
Just be a better owner and change your cat litter frequently.
I have, over time, had 6 cats in my house and family and friends have assured me that there was never a time they walked in here and could smell cats.

@Anonymous Juno is so much like my Malone (R.I.P)
The only difference is, Malone had no tail. He was involved in a cat fight we think, it was bitten and wouldn't heal so the vet removed it.
It was from that point onwards he turned into a real scardey cat. Even with us, though I think that was more to do with the amount of times we had to take him to the vets.

Awww your Malone R.I.P. @Cleoriff
Did your cat Malone still jump around with, sadly, not having a tail ?
Yes, all my cats were scaredy cats when they just know they are going to the Vets ... & ... they're stressed out when I'm trying to just get force them into their cat carry basket
Marty is no exception ... I always come off worst ... he behaves beautifully for the Vet though
