Made a disasterous mistake yesterday. I accidently locked out my LG G4 whilst removing another device. The problem is now I can't log into Google or form or manner.

I tried a few of the Google Recovery webpages and with all attempts it has failed.

I'm really annoyed and frustrated at myself.

So I'll be in the market for a newer cheaper smartphone so I can use my SIM again.

Have you tried a factory reset? You will lose all your data, but hopefully you had everything backed up.

How do you mean it locked out exactly?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

The handset is effectively locked out from Google. Therefore no account even if newly created won't do anything. This will keep thievery down I suppose but it was my own stupid mistake.

I can't really do anything other than put it down to bad experience. So rather than waiting the duration of the contract I will save as much money towards the cost of it and pay it off in a larger installments rather than waiting 24-months; by allotting the necessary cash in a seperate account. Something like 30-40 pound extra a month.

I'm not sure the insurance would have covered that anyway.

I didn't think it was possible to completely lock yourself out. What is the phone showing when you turn it on?

@viridis Interesting that you should show me that, a 3 day lock out could be what is happening. I sincerely hope so anyway.

In the meanwhile I have a contigency plan.
