Is anyone else watching?  I loved the first series and I've been looking forward to this.

Oh and it helps that I can drool over David Tennant!

It's the first decent thing on TV for ages. Christmas and New Year tv was very disappointing.

Not really all that impressed so far although it has Eve Myles in it, so a little bit of a plus in it.

It's got a lot to live up to after the first series. I'd probably be struggling with this if it wasn't for David Tennant!

I'm enjoying seeing West Bay though, I love the West Country.

Not a bad 1st episode at all with quite a lot going on in it.

I still need to see the first series! I'm assuming its worth it from what's been said here. Does it carry on or is it kind of separate

I haven't actually seen it, but I know there's a lot of hype about it.

To save me Googling it, can someone give me a brief explanation as to what it is about?

Up to now all I know is that David Tennant is in it......

@Tobythis series follows on from the last one.  You could probably watch this one on it's own but it might not make much sense.

@gemz4the1in a nutshell - Danny Latimer, son of Beth and Mark, was killed in Broadchurch which is a fictional town in Dorset.  The first series concentrated on the search for the killer, with loads of red herrings.  The search for the killer is led by DI Alec Hardy (David Tennant) and DS Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman).

If the first series is about catching the killer then what will the second series be about? Is it following on from the same storyline or will it be a different murder?
