Any fans on here?
Anybody looking forward to the Hatton fight at the weekend

I've only seen the first couple of rounds in full, due to streaming issues. I gave those to Hatton, but can't judge the rest.

Ah well, back to retirement. Bit sad really, he just wasn't really up to the task.

He's looking a bit battered. I hope he does call it quits.

Let's hope so, as long as he doesn't fall back into the abyss.

I personally think he needed a warm up fight against someone at domestic level first. He was hardly outclassed in the fight, he was just extremely ring rusty. He lost againt a guy that had defended a world title four times and his only lose was against Mallignaggi.
Got caught with a punch that would have slowed/put a lot of fighters down.

Yes he was very rusty and missed by such a long way with his jabs and right hooks. I found it a little sad though but as you say he wasn't outclassed, just the timing wasn't there.

It must be so difficult for a boxer, knowing when to call it a day.
