It is the first day of autumn in the northern hemisphere! And as a subscriber of numerous newsletters, I've come across a bit of autumn related trivia. Below, is a table of 16 leaves that can be found during autumn:

Admittedly, the newsletter is from an American organisation so I'm not sure how many of the tree species will be here in the UK. But, if this is something you're familiar with or fancy a go at, please do so!

I've hidden a word bank below so if you're really struggling, you can use these to help.

More info
Word bank: Mulberry, Maple, Japanese Maple, Tulip Tree, Pine, Sycamore, Oak, Chestnut, Giant Sequoia, Hickory, Locust, Beech, Willow, Palm, Holly, Gingko

Feel free to comment when you think you know one, but maybe wait for another community member to guess before posting again.

I wonder if this would be up any of your streets, @Mi-Amigo  @Cleoriff  @pgn  @jonsie  @BobM  @gmarkj  @TallTrees @madasaf1sh? And anyone else who I may have missed, sorry.

Cheers 🌿🍁🍂🍃!

Don't think 12 is Oak, 16 does, kinda - not the European Sessile or Pedunculate oak species though, @BobM.

6 - looks like an Acacia or Mimosa, don't recognise it outright.

Actually, if we are going North American, then 6 could be Locust, and Bob's 16 could be what they call Poison Oak (ya gotta be brave to walk through a forest in Northern California 🙄)
