Ciao a tutti, 

I've shared with you a while ago that I was going to be away for a few days and hinted the whereabouts of my destination here.

On that topic, @Mi-Amigo replied saying that if I took some pictures, I should be sharing them on the community, to which I promptly agreed. @Comben was also interested to hear about it. And unfortunately, @BobM, Pink Floyd wasn't there indeed, but there was a very interesting exhibition of posters and info about the concert in the corridors of the Roman amphitheatre (which was closed when I visited the archeological site, though 😞) 

So following the tips I gathered on the Travel Tips topic by @Pipstop78 and on the Summer heatwave tips and tricks topic by @Martin-O2, off I went to Italy!

Pompeii really is an impressive locale,  I will leave you with some of the pics I've taken:

Napoli is so close to Pompeii that I just had to both in one trip! It’s like half an hour on the local train.

@TallTrees, Malta must be beautiful as well. I think that most regions situated on the Mediterranean are worth visiting to be honest. And I agree, Pompeii is so interesting, but it’s sad too. Whilst I was there I tried to act respectfully, having in mind the tragedy that happened there.

Thanks for your compliments, there are several trees like that one around that region in Italy, a fascinating shape they have indeed, never seen anything quite like it before.

@pgn, thanks for your compliments about my pictures! As of how I’ve embedded them here on the forum, I’ve created a presentation on Canva, which is an online tool to create visual assets, edit pictures, etc. Then I copied the embed code of that presentation and embedded it to my post, glad you liked the format! I'm sure you can use other online tools to create similar presentations too.

As for the good photos, then I must say it’s due to the photographer (just kidding 🤣)
