"A rough week for Apple"

As we know their has been some threads about recent situations regarding the iPhone 6 #bendgate and the iOS 8.0.1 update fiasco.

This is a balanced piece on the situation in my opinion from idownloadblog Here

It it is going to be interesting to see if Apple do make a statement and if Apple Stores will swap out 'bent' iPhone 6 models.

It will all make for further publicity I expect...as for changing the bendable phones I doubt it.

It will be far too easy if folk want to change their phones ....for them to 'bend' them on purpose wink

Yes a very real possibility.

But the Note 3 didn't bend, or break, with even more force applied.....
Considering that the back pocket (regardless of our views) is a very common place for people to keep their phones you'd have to start and question if this iPhone is actually fit for purpose or not.....

Which will be a question that will probably have to now be answered by the purchaser.

As for the 10million + already sold I've yet to see an epidemic of bent iPhones only the usual media hype and stir mongering by people with perhaps other agendas.

OK, I'm first in line to have a dig, but...
You put that much pressure on any metal bodied phone, it's gonna bend and that's a fact. If anything im impressed with the flexibility of the glass.

I think people are taking this out of proportion.

The way I see it is, people have unintentionally thwarted a design flaw. I don't know about anyone else however I am really careful with my phones no matter what they cost to make or purchase. Light metal will bend that much is obvious.

Maybe they should have went with the Sapphire Glass idea after all. Also I wonder what glass they actually use now as opposed to Corning Glass.

Indubitably true. Samsung S21 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra
