£3 school shoes

Hi how much do you spend on school shoes ????
My cost was really cheap because the school where my son 11 and daughter 13 go to recomend cheap plain black lace up pumps as an alternative to school shoes so both my son and daughter wear plain black lace up pumps from primark as school shoes only cost £3 per pair
There school uniform policy is
School jumper
School polo shirt
Black school trousers
Leather school shoes or plain black lace up pumps no vans trainers heels or boots

I like the fact that they have a dual option on school shoes. The fact that they grow out of them so quickly at a young age it makes perfect sense and we'll done to the school governors ☺

It's great literally half of the kids at the school wear plain black lace up pumps as school shoes much cheaper than proper school shoes

Do you guys have to buy everything of the uniform on yourself, or do you get some things from the school?

Who decides how much clothes a kid needs? Like... Do you get a list "Peter needs 5 Poloshirts, 5 trousers, 1 pair of shoes etc"?
