The ultimate band! Build your own supergroup!

Hi everyone, 

Have you ever wondered what your favourite band would sound like with a different drummer? Or how well your favourite singer would perform songs from another group? Well you can wonder no more as today we're going to build our ultimate band from scratch!! 

The rules are simple, build your ultimate band made up of any performer from any existing band or group, living or dead. Do you want Paul McCartney on vocals, Dave Grohl on the drums and Fatboy Slim doing the audio mixing? No problem! There are no restrictions so let us know your ultimate superband line up below!!

Nick Mason Drums (Pink Floyd) Or Dave Grohl (he was a drummer in Nirvana) Or Zak Starkey.

John Paul Jones. Bass Guitar (Led Zeppelin)

Prince (Keyboards)

There you have it. A Supergroup.

Guitar/Vocals - Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge / Slash)

Rhythm Guitar/Vocals - James Hetfield (Metallica)

Lead Guitar - Joe Bonamassa
 

Bass - Cliff Burton (Metallica) - RIP Cliff

Drums - Dave Lombardo (Slayer)

Vocals was a difficult one for me, but Myles Kennedy has a phenominal voice and his amazing guitar ability as well meant I couldn't leave him out so I've gone for the IRON MAIDEN approach.  That is THREE GUITARISTS

Lead guitar could have been many different people.  Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Jimmy Page (Led Zep), Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge/Tremonti/Creed), Slash, Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Jimi Hendrix

Could have gone with Dave Grohl on drums.

No contest for rhythm guitar, Hetfield is a genius.  As was the late great Cliff Burton on bass.
