RugbyX at The O2! What do you think of this new format?

Hi everyone!

There's going to be two RugbyX events at The O2 in London, on 29th October 2019. Priority tickets for both sessions will be available on Wednesday 29 May!

RugbyX is a brand-new format of rugby! It's faster and more intense. The rules have been adjusted, as well as the number of players and pitch size, to help with the faster pace of the game:

• Uncontested 3-man scrums
• Smaller pitch size without posts
• 5 players per team
• No line-outs
• No conversions
• Emphasis on skill over power

Any rugby enthusiasts here on the community? What do you think of this new game format? Interested in seeing it played live at The O2?

Sounds like a smaller version of 7s, which was already a much faster version of the game.
Will withhold judgement until I see it being played...

I have to say I love the game played as it should be. I'm not really into the 7's and I doubt very much I would like this version.

@jonsie Is that due to the faster pace or any other specific aspect of the newer versions that you don't like? Or just in general?
