I downloaded o2 proty to my new phone that has a giffgaff sim card and when I went on it I clicked on use it on a different as it showed my giffgaff number and I know I can't use it with my giffgaff number. But when I clicked on use a different number button to put my o2 number on it it didn't load. Does anyone know why that is?

Thanks for letting me know @Luke30! I'm glad that the app is now registered with the correct number. If you have any further issues the Gurus suggested you take the below steps. 

 

  • uninstalling the priority app
  • backing up and restoring your phone back to factory settings
  • Setup phone again using your O2 SIM. Then try reinstalling the app and setting up with your O2 number

Try clearing data from the app in settings >apps >o2 priority or just delete and reinstall the app with your O2 sim in phone.

O2 priority is working now @Martin-O2 I used my hot-spot on my o2 phone to get it working as I found out that using my mobile data on my giffgaff sim card it picks up my giffgaff number so as I used my hot-spot on o2 phone it picked up my o2 number and started working with no problem.

@M15 I know but it's working on my giffgaff number as I added my o2 number to o2 priority by using the hot spot from my o2 phone to my giffgaff phone.
