transfer number

Hi, Is it possible for a mobile number to be transfered from myself to my daughter.  She is now of an age to pay for her own phone bills and would like to stay with O2 but would also like to keep the same number she has been using for years which I have paid for through my own account.

So the number belongs to your daughter but you have just been paying her bills?

If she wants to take out a new contract, she would need to be credit checked. If the checks are ok, she just needs to ask O2 to migrate her number across.
