Pay as you go has taken a payment when it isn’t connected to my account anymore

My pay as you go sim was deactivated earlier this month as I have switched to a contract phone. Though for some reason it still took a payment, even when I’ve had texts and emails saying that they were unable to take the payment. I can hardly believe that when my bank app says the money was deducted from my account!!

@AlmightyBean We have no access to anyone's account information. You'll have to speak to Pay & Go customer service.

You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (now X) (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

It may be you set a recurring payment on your old PAYG account - if this was not terminated before you switched to contract, it may still be in effect. Follow advice given above to contact O2 to get this removed and any funds taken moved to your Contract phone balance, @AlmightyBean - good luck!
