Moving abroad

Hi!
I'm moving to Germany at the end of February. I was wondering if I would be able to carry my contract over to Germany or if it would be better to pay of the rest of my contract beforehand and what would be the best way to do that?
Or are there any other options?

@biafrx O2 Germany and O2 UK are separate companies. If you're moving there permanently, pay off your device here and get a sim only here for a month, then you can then use your phone on an O2 Germany sim only contract there.
