I was called today by O2 from their place in India. They tried to sell me a new phone. My current phone is less than a year old. I don't want a new phone and told them so. I checked my account with O2 after the phone call and there is an order for me made today for a new phone! I'm unable to contact O2.....surprise, surprise

o2 don't have a call centre in India and never have had to my knowledge.

This is a scam / fraud, so I would raise as Fraud with o2 on 0344 809 0202 and they can investigate...

I would also forward the number that called you to 7726 and also check your credit report etc, and also keep an eye out for a different delivery address.

Hi there @Mis-sold

Welcome to the o2 Community forum.

Very sorry to hear your story.

O2 can't make you buy a phone?

Anyway awful as it may be regrettably you have to contact o2 customer services to cancel this transaction or order.

Best time to call them is early morning 08.00am

Good luck I'm sure o2 will get this sorted for you...come back if you have more difficulties.

Bye and best wishes
