Joining O2

Hi,
I have joined O2 and brought my number over from my previous network. My old number should have transferred to my O2 SIM now and it seems to have done this, however, the number on my My O2 account is still showing as the number registered to the SIM.

Why is this the case? How can I change it without verifying through a text.

It can take a few days to change on myo2, i think my partners took a week.

This is because all the systems have to be changed from your temporary number to your ported number and they don't tend to do this at the same time as the port.
