How long should it take for a battery to fully charge on a lumia 1020 . It takes mine over three hours , with wireless charger. My old lumia 800 was fully charged in an hour. It seems an awfully long time

Hi . I am getting a new phone. They told me it should be charging quicker. Hopefully this should resolve my problem .

It still won't charge any faster than 2hr 40min with phone off.....

http://easycalculation.com/physics/classical-physics/battery-charge.php put the figures in there 2.666666666 is 2hours 40 min with no loss in charging and there is know loss in inductive charging if you can find the % loss the calculator will indicate time

http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/charging_without_wires states between 20-30% loss so use that in the calculator above and charge time from flat is between 3h 12 min to 3h 27min based on 2000mah battery and 750ma charge plate.

You guys got it right. various searches all state 2-3 hours charge time for wireless charging on the 1020. The output of the cradle isn't enough to match the drain of using the phone for maps and music.
