one number on two sims

Is it possible to have the same number on two sims as I have two phones. I want to keep one in my car but still want to be accessible on one number.

Why not have 2 sims in one phone it works ok for me.I Have o2 and T Mobile in the same phone plus DVB-T TV to watch its great.

I doubt greatly that you have the same number on 2 simcards. I don't think any network do that now.
