o2 selling on numbers again??

Anonymous
Not applicable

it would appear o2 have been selling on numbers again. Within 24hrs of renewing a contract with them i recieved 6junk texts about debt/PPI etc and have been gettting one or two per day since.

Of course o2 completely deny it but each message is headed with the account holders name (which is a different family member and name to mine) and they are the only people that would be aware of this. I dont have the interent of my phone so that isnt an issue.

Many others have this problem and managed to solve it? I want an apology from o2 and some kind of compensation

Why don't you read my original post rather than replying with the same thing each time?

Why don't you keep it to one thread and accept that you may be wrong?

Everyone gets them, in fact I get many more to my EE phone than my O2 one. Its spam by a computer... Get over it !!!
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Unless you are replying to them they'll go away eventually.

T&CS get updated and by default you agree to them unless you state otherwise. That's why they tell you to keep checking it for revisions.

Be polite and you'll get a lot more help.
If you don't like the answer you get there's not much that can be done about that. There's other carriers you can go too but we'd only smirk if you came back and told us you were having the same problem.

Yours sincerely,
