Same here, My phones not working at all..Says emergency calls only if I try and make a call.

Some of my friends weren't able to make calls either tonight

Since last night, my iPhone has once again only barely got 1 bar signal at home or even No Service.

Still the same this morning.

Very frustrating.

I sent an email to the address listed in this thread. Got a reply back saying I was a business customer and they forwarded my mail onto the business dept.

They mailed me back today saying yes there was a GPRS outage yesterday, and I could check by looking here http://www.webmap.o2.co.uk/

I've had no GPRS since yesterday, full signal just no GPRS 😞
EDIT: Looks like it was my P1i playing up lol

Been doing some testing with interesting results.

I'm right on the edge of a 3G zone according to O2's map.

When I take my iPhone out of standby I see the 3G logo, with 1 to 3 bars before the wifi kicks in.

If I turn the wifi off, I get 1 to 3 bars on 3G, fluctuating to to barely 1 bar.

If I turn 3G off I get full strength 2G signal.


So it would seem that my phone is picking up the 3G signal which according to the map I'm not in.

So I guess it will be better for me when I'm at home to turn off 3G (as I'm on wifi anyway) and only switch the 3G on when I need it.

I'm on 1 bar (still) if I leave the 3G mode turned on.
