OX area - no internet connection via pay monthly using galaxy s - wifi conenction from home is working. Are there problems in some OX areas?

I have been trying to connect to an o2 number in scotland and finding intermittent service. Does anyone know if there is a problem with o2 today?

I am on the phone to O2 at the moment and it appears that the issue is when 3G is turned on on my iPhone. Turn it off and all is fine.

Once they give me an update on what this means I will let you know.

So I've suffered with no signal for days...it comes back on for one day...now I've got a signal but can't make a phone call...the 'line' is just dead.

Trying to move house and can't bloody communicate with the estate agent!!!

You all need to report any issues you have to O2, you wont be all suffering the same issue because unless you live in a similar area, the equipment used will be different.
If you have had heavy rain over the last few days, that can affect the signal as it causes attenuation (basically degrading the radio waves by breaking them up), better with nice sunny weather
