Just spoke to o2 business ("08:28") - a real person, they are still saying GPRS down for the whole of the UK, engineers working on it, not estimated time to fix.
This seems to be a Pay as You Go issue. There's a few people in my work who all have iphones with contracts and they're all up and running fine. Apparently there are to different gateways for PAYG and Pay Monthly. Sucks!!
Actually, I've got a PAYG and it's working fine, it's all the contract ones that aren't connecting. I believe the iPhone will use CSD (dial-up modem) if no GPRS so might appear to be working... but will be very slow.
