friends and family 30% discount

i'm on the friends and family staff discount @ 30% off a 30 day rolling simplicity contract... (they said they could offer this money off for up to 10 friends and family)

now... I was the partner of a staff member at the time but we've no longer together...

i've been told I need him present to upgrade the simplicity 'contract' to a 18 month contract plus phone...

is this true? or is there a way around it

I would love to do your coaching and hear this to a customer. We every now and then get o2 employees coming on the forum. Most of them don't last long as they have a similar attitude to yourself. The regulars on here probably help as many as you are meant to every day in your paid work.
There are some o2 folks who see it from both sides but being honest it does not look like you will be one of them.

You would coach me, in what exactly? Why your thinking I'm an employee is bizarre to say the least. Also you must hold yourself very high to assume a forum member is incompetent to your standards. I'm a mere stranger not long joined, not even become a customer yet or even ever.
Or is it actually your paid to answer such? I'm one member offering assistance free.
Well, they who get paid to do, can continue to do as they so shall. I don't and never have worked in such! Also never intend! I'm more than happy for whom I work for & have been for a few decades I'm fortunate to say.
I'm actually surprised you even commented on my reply to another members discussion. I was under the impression a "forum" was ask a question and a reply would be an answer in that persons opinion who is taking the free time to bother.

I joined this forum just out of interest actually being very dissatisfied with my provider, who I've been connected with for many years.
So I thought what best way to find out about the real nitty gritty of a new provider. To join the customer forum (see how things really go down) So here I am.

I'm not actually that sensitive lisabe (sorry for getting your name wrong in an earlier post), it's the way you write. I know now you aren't meaning to come across the way you do so may I point out, in a friendly way, that capitalising words and adding exclamation marks in the way you are doing over emphasises what you are writing and gives the impression that you think the reader is too dim to understand without it. This is not polite and does read as displaying an attitude. How you text your friends is entirely your business, but as you point out, this is a public forum. Purely to illustrate the point I am making and no emphasis intended, can you see what I mean if I write the final sentence in the same style?
