Hi. Apologies if posting to wrong forum, I'm a newbie. Does anyone know if and when O2 will provide eSIM support for Samsung watches. I've seen a few posts about it going back almost a year, but no indication from O2 of if or when 🤔

Hi @Grimsnack

o2 don't support the Samsung range of watches at this time.

The network that does is Vodafone for some bizarre reason.

Thanks madasf1sh - great name by the way. Vodafone and EE appear to support Samsung, but not O2. I've been an O2 customer for years and always had great coverage and service, but it's cery disappointing that a leading company like this still doesn't support a major global brand. It would be nice and good customer service if O2 would let us know why 🤔

Any ideas on how you get O2 to comment on community questions?

They don't comment on here generally.

The only person is @Chris_K with any inside knowledge but I don't think he's one of the decision makers.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi, Grimsnack,
Nothing on the horizon as yet, but when we do, it will be on shop page at www.o2.co.uk/shop. :slight_smile:

Thanks for that O2Sophie - do you know why it's taking such a long time for O2 to privide support for what has to be the world-s kargest phone manufacturer, when O2 already support Apple, one of the smaller manufacturers? It would be great to understand why we're still waiting 🙂

@Grimsnack

This is one of the great unknowns of the mobile industry... why a network supports one and not the other... i suspect the only people who know will be the high ups and Samsung...

Yeah, you'd think it's a relatively simple thing to let loyal customers know the reasons; we don't have to like them or agree with them, but transparency would be 'good customer service', which strangely, is something I've always had from O2 🤔
