New O2 user here.
Recently got a new smartwatch plan with O2. Both phone nano SIM (phone) and eSIM (watch) have been activated. Phone calls/data/texts works perfectly. However on the watch, I can ONLY receive calls on the watch's number but cannot make calls or send texts. When I tried to make a call from the watch over the mobile plan connection (without using the Bluetooth connection to the phone), I always see the message "Emergency Calls Only".
- Do I need activate anything else on the eSIM with O2?
- I want to receive calls on my watch for people calling my phone. Do I need to set up Call Divert on the main number (phone) to divert calls to my watch's number?
Thanks!

A warm welcome @Duck999 to this O2 customer to customer community. We have a couple of guides dealing with Samsung watches :-
Guide: Connecting your Samsung Smartwatch
Please post again if you still have problems once you have worked through these guides. 👍

So it seems that from reading the guides and doing my own research, watch calling (with the same number as the phone) is only available on Samsung phones with "Call & text on other devices" switched on. O2, especially the sales people, should have made this clear from the beginning.

The phone needs to be on and connected at all times too, even if left at home.
