Unable to make or recieve calls!

Since I have put my o2 sim card in my unlocked Nokia phone, I have lost all my call contacts and am unable to make or recieve calls! Yet I can send and recieve texts, strange!I would really appreciate any help with this problem. Thanks in advance.
