Why does the time on my phone (set to auto update) go forward by an hour? It seems to be something on the network and I have experienced this a number of times, as have other on O2. It does not happen to other networks.
I set my alarm for 7am today and it went off at that time on the phone however the ACTUAL time was 6am according to the TV and manual clocks in my house. I set another alarm for 8am. This went off at 7am.
The time has now corrected itself at 7:45 real time. Obviously their customer services aren't open - even tho O2 phones say it was after 8am.
I really wanted a sleep in this morning and O2 have screwed up my day - NOT IMPRESSED!

nokia, sony, iPhone etc can't all be faulty... with exactly the same fault at the same time which rectifies itself a few hours later.
It is an O2 problem!

My phone is the only alarm clock I have used for the past 7 or 8 years. Always been on O2 and had all the phones you mention as well as Samsung and never had a problem with time difference variations such as you describe so I don't think it's network related.
Just to add, my wife, my two sons and daughter-in-laws, all on O2, have never had problems (I have asked them specifically before posting this).

I've asked around a couple of O2 users and nobody has had this problem.
I like Steve have used mine regularly as an alarm and it's never failed me.
I think with over 20M customers we would have seen thousands of complaints if this were happening.
If it were an O2 time server fault it would have to be widespread.

Phone again says 00:32 but it is only 11:32.
Friends on O2 also have the same time. I hope it sorts itself out by morning as I really don't want to get up at 6am real time.
