Website bugs or errors

Anonymous

Hi guys,

Some of you have mentioned seeing bugs or errors on specific website pages. As it can sometimes be hard to reproduce bugs, I wanted to set up a dedicated thread to help collect and track any issues you might find. We've set up a weekly meeting with the webdev team to go through any pages which are reported here, so that should get things sorted rather quickly.

In case you do spot something, please let us know here and we'll keep you up to date with what's going on. To find or reproduce the bug/error, it would be helful if you could provide the following information:

Link to page:

Steps to take to reproduce bug:

What the page currently does/say:

What the page should do/say:

Thanks for letting us know and we'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible!

Cheers,
Leonard

Thanks Adam. I'll get these checked out for you!

Hi Onatasa, I've asked the team for an update on the limit to see what can be done. If you do manage to use it however, do let me know here.

The "bug" I want to mention appears on ALL pages so I won't quote an URL.

I use IE11. When I am sign in to the O2 Community the very top line of the web page has two tabs Personal and Business and these are towards the left hand side of the screen.  Towards the right hand side it says Hi (then my name) | Sign out, and then there is a Search Box.  the "bug" is this - when I clcik on sign out I am indeed signed out BUT the screen still says Hi (then my name) | Sign Out.    I think this should change to say "Sign In" but it doesn't.    Not very important in the overall scheme of things I know - but it is one of those wee niggles that detracts from the professionalism I like to, and indeed expect to, see from organisations like O2.

Hi Gerry,

Thanks for raising this. I think the issue here is that when you are sign into the community, you may also be signing into your MyO2 at the same time. This means that when you sign out of the community, you may still be logged into your MyO2 account.

Does that make sense?

Thanks @Toby.   I had not thought of that explanation.  I will check to see if that is the case.
