Why would O2 want CPW to contact me and lose me as a direct customer - seems madness and does not sound totally ethical - especially the way they are trying to sound like they are actually 02 including wording of follow up texts
And even worse as CPW had major hack of customer account details - if they have access to mine with O2 then maybe these are at risk too. O2 shoudl let custmers know if others have access as i would not have known to react tpo the CPW hack

So do O2 themselves not get involved in this community as its on their site? Not interested in responding to customers concerns - yeah - ok will have a look a raising a compaint - although if this is their attitude maybe its time for a move after 16 years with them - lots of competative deals out there so....
But thanks for your responses - apprecaited

There is no guarantee that a trusted partner will not have already sold your details on. It's big money for important information and marketing people. O2 won't be bothered in all honesty. Unless you specifically opted out you agreed to O2 sharing your information when taking out a contract, the default setting is agreeing to it.
